First Aid training is essential for everyone. It equips you with the necessary skills to act in an emergency situation, potentially saving someone’s life.

During training, participants gain practical experience through

role-playing scenarios to prepare them for real-life situations.

 

Training can be done through in-person or online classes, and certifications can be obtained upon completion. Investing in first aid training is investing in your capability to help others in their time of need.

What you can expect

This half day course is versatile. It has been designed to update and refresh first aiders' skills. The Health and Safety Executive strongly suggest that first aiders complete training every year to prevent skills fading and keep knowledge current.

This course is also great as an insight to first aid. It covers the most common first aid situations and is great for people looking to have a good understanding and confidence. 

This course is perfect for Health and Social care workers as it meets CQC requirements as well as assisting with compliance of the Care Certificate Standard 12 for Adult Basic Life Support developed jointly by Skills for Care, Health Education England and Skills for Health in accordance with UK Resuscitation Council Guidelines. 

 

This Mini First Aid / Refresher First Aid  Course aligns with the HSE Guidelines.

This course duration is 3 hours (half a day)

What you can expect

This one-day course takes a more in depth look at first aid situations and equips learners with the skills needed to respond to a first aid emergency confidently and well informed. It is perfect for smaller or low risk workplaces where a first aid needs assessment identifies the need for an Emergency First aid at Work certificate (EFAW).

 

It would enable staff to be  trained to the level of an Appointed Person, i.e., be able to take responsibility for the First Aid in an emergency at work, and to maintain the first aid kit and record book in accordance with Health and Safety guideline. It will help individuals meet regulatory requirements if their work risk assessment indicates that first aid training covering emergency protocols is required for your workplace. Certificates are valid for 3 years. 

This Emergency First Aid Course aligns with the HSE Guidelines offering a complete range of hand on skills essential for First Aiders in various work settings.

This course duration is one full day (9.30 am to 4 pm)

What Learners will leave knowing

Learners will be able to recognise potential emergency situations and know how to deal with them. The course can be modified to meet the First Aid Needs Assessment within specific working environments, but will cover the core topics in depth:

Emergency First Aid
FirstAid at work

What you can expect

While we can offer a full traditional 3 days level 3  first aid at work,  we feel you can achieve the same knowledge and understanding in an express 2 day training class with 6 hours of home learning, providing you have completed a First Aid Training Certification before or  have basic knowledge and understanding of First Aid. However, if you are a beginner or would like a more relaxed approach with more opportunity to practice your new skills then please contact us for this course over 3 full days.

This 3-day certified course is suitable for learners who may need to provide competencies needed in any workplace giving the learner the ability to administer first aid safely, promptly and effectively to a casualty. Learners should be able to demonstrate the practical administration of safe, prompt, effective first aid in emergency situations with an understanding of the role of first aider.

This First Aid at Work course is perfect for larger and/or high-risk environments or for those who identified a need for a First Aid at Work (FAW) certificate following their first aid needs assess. It also is suitable for or people who deal with first aid at work enabling them to be workplace first aiders under the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.

This First Aid at Work Course aligns with the HSE Guidelines offering a complete range of hand on skills essential for First Aiders in various work settings.

What you can expect

This one-day course equips learners with the skills needed to respond to a first aid emergency with a Paediatric Casualty confidently and well informed. It will build confidence & teach vital skills so you can deal with life-threatening first aid emergencies involving babies and children.

 

This course will teach you to understand the role and responsibilities of the paediatric first aider, how to assess an emergency situation and prioritise your actions.

 

This course is ideal for anyone who spends time with children that wants to build confidence in dealing with incidents as they arise.

Paediatric First Aid

What you can expect

This 2-day certified course is suitable for learners who work with or care for children from newborn to 18 years old within the UK. Learners will understand how to administer first aid safely, promptly and effectively to a young casualty in emergency situations with an understanding of the role of first aider.

 

This course runs over two days and will teach you practical face to face training specifically designed to build confidence for any scenario. Tailored to provide paediatric lifesaving skills and paediatric incident support.

This Paediatric First Aid course is perfect for high-risk environments or for those who identified a need for a Paediatric First Aid at Work certificate following their first aid needs assess. It also is suitable for or people who deal with Paediatric First aid at work enabling them to be workplace first aiders under the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.

This course exceeds Ofsted requirements and Ofsted Early Years Requirements and aligns with the HSE Guidelines offering a complete range of hand on skills essential for First Aiders in various work settings.
